A signature large clear lid protects your filter from unwanted heat and debris. A rubber seal helps insulate the air inside the intake as much as possible. The clear lid also gives off killer looks without adding unnecessary clutter under your hood. S&B also includes an large air intake tube that provides maximum airflow to your intake. With minimal bends, you can find your 1500/2500/3500 5.7L exuding pure power.
Easy Customizable Installation Process
S&B filter housing allows you to choose the type of airflow your Hemi will be rocking with. With two air inlets, you’ll have the option to remove the silicone box plug to allow for maximum airflow. Otherwise you can install the silicone box plug and it will seal the secondary air inlet on the side of the box. What this does is ensure that the front facing grill inlet and front scoop will become the main source of airflow. The silicone that makes up this air intake system can handle as much as 400 degrees Fahrenheit without cracking or tearing, but in case of extreme heat wave it is recommended to utilize the optional box plug.
