Prevents Axle/Frame Contact and Provides Smoother Engagement than Stock
The 2019-2024 Ford Ranger can handle off-road trails, but for strenuous trips, factory bump stops can’t handle the axle slamming into them. If you’re really pushing your Ranger hard, you’ll need Timbren’s Active Rear Bump Stops. Timbren’s replacement Active Bump Stops drop right into place of your Ranger’s stock rear bump stops and feature a set of Timbren’s Aeon® progressive springs that do a much better job of absorbing force and load than factory foam bump stops. The kit is rated for 6,000 lbs and has a bump-load capacity of 23,000 lbs. The end result is less probability that the rear axle will beat your frame to death. Axle energy is absorbed when bottomed out for a better ride. The bump stop provides a smoother ride and smoother axle travel while you’re rocketing around off-road at high speeds. Axle travel will not be limited and full articulation is still possible.
Unique Rubber Spring Compound with Heavy-Duty, Bolt-On Bracket
Timbren’s Active Off-Road Bump Stops install easily and use high-quality materials. Each bump stop is built around one of Timbren’s Aeon® springs that are made out of a natural rubber compound. It features a hollow core to allow the springs to absorb impacts in a progressive spring rate for smooth engagement and disengagement of your Ranger’s rear axle. The Aeon® spring is mounted in a complete bracket assembly made out of heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish to protect against corrosion and blend in with your Ranger’s axle. The Timbren Active Bump Stops install right into place of your truck’s stock bump stops and don’t require drilling or other permanent modifications. Fitment: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Ford Ranger
